Depression / Quick to anger / WHY??
Congrats on the weight loss, but you got the ":Post-Op Blues", bro .. (almost every post-op knows 'em) Very common, very powerful, and even possibly very serious ..
Supposedly due to hormonal and situational factors caused by the sudden, massive weight loss ..
Don't let them get worse .. get help if you need it by getting on an anti-depressant from your doc ..

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "
HW/461 LW/251 GW/189 CW/274 (yep, a DS semi-failure - it happens :-( )
I wonder if part of it is kinda like quitting smoking.... When I quit I lost a lifelong friend that had been there whenever I ws bored, sad, happy, drinking, resting. A big part of my life was gone. Almost mourned myself back into smoking a few times. It took a while, but finding other things to do helped a lot
I'll bet a big heavy bag and a speed bag would be a wise purchase before the "post-op blues" set in?

Protein, exercise, water.
And in my case, having my PCP boost my Zoloft.
Turns out that with the malabsorption thing that comes with an RNY bypass, some antidepressants need to be in higher dosages to have the former effect.
But I know what you mean. About three months out was when it got bad for me. Ornery, combative, all that.
Much better now. Check out the meds, along with the other stuff.
