OT:HOW 'BOUT THEM GIANTS
My wife's been a Giants fan since she was 5 years old and she's 56 now. However, we've lived near Philly since 1980. So, we root for both the Eagles and Giants except when they play each other. And, we both hate Dallas.
Right now we're also cheering for the Phillies even though I really don't follow baseball.

Actually, I don't so much hate the Cowboys as much as having them be called America's team. They were never America's team--they were Dallas' team. I think good ol' Howard Coselle gave them that moniker back in the 70s and many people around the country resented it.
I don't hate any of their players, but I'm glad that T O is no longer an Eagle. The only other thing I don't understand is why they are part of the NFC East. But, I know their traditional rivals woundn't have it any other way.

We can thank another Texan for getting Howard out of calling boxing matches - Randall "Tex" Cobb after going 15 rounds with Ali or Foreman, I can't remember who exactly, and not going down after having the crap beaten out of him.
The personality of the Cowboys changed when Jerry Jones bought them. Lost any class they might have had when he came in. Only can remember Danny White getting into an altercation that resulted in legal troubles but with what they have on team know - Dallas County Probation could set up an office at Valley Ranch. Let's don't even get into the fu**ing Arlington is taking over that new stadium. Yes, the Cowboys have been to the Super Bowl a few times since his acquisiton but miss the days of Roger, Randy, "Too Tall", Tony.....

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!! 
And to think that I've been associating with Cowboys and Giants fans. Very distressing. The EAGLES are our team, but for the moment the focus is on the Phillies and whether they will win at home or in Tampa Bay. It is hoped that they will win this evening.

I agree Don. Jerry Jones has brought his Arkansas sister-humpin', trailer trash style to the Cowboys. During the late 60's and early 70's I could tell you who every player was at every position. I watch them about 5 maybe 6 quarters per year these days. The only thing that keeps them from adding more thugs to their collection is the Raiders.
