Where did you lose your fat first?

For me, face was first followed by legs, arms and ass in that order. Last but certainly not least was my gut. I had a huge gut so I figured it would be the first to go but no sireee bob!  For me anyway, my body seemed to want to preserve the belly fat as the last bastion of "energy storage."

How bout' you guys?

Exact same order as you, Boner! I notice some "wrinkles" in my gut, but it's still HUGE!!!

Definitely a good order. I lost in my head area first most definitely and neck. Then I lost titties it seems like (not enough though hahahaha) and legs came then butt started sagging more haha. I think the belly is last for most folks though. It's the body's largest fat storage facility so naturally the brain will want to keep the fat cells there and use up all other sources first. I wish the stupid brain would get rid of the belly fat THEN all the rest. My belly was/is the main problem of all!!

My gut was first and then the face. I was surprised the other day when I went to the tailor to alter my suit for a cruise. The shoulders were way too big. I hadn't noticed that. -- Tom

It was the same order as I had gained it.  I noticed the same thing with other diets.  My upper back was the last place I put on the weight...there was no other place for it to go.  That was the first place I lost it too.  Then everywhere else all at about the same time.  Brian

I've seen it posted several times before that we supposedly lose it first from where we put it on last (like I can remember that  < eyeroll > )  But, usually, the neck and torso first it seems ..   The neck fat loss explains why our sleep apnea reverses so quickly (usually), sometimes even while we're still in the hospital ..  Makes sense, as a "self-preservation" response  (before CPAP, how did SO or MO humans survive with s.a.?   I guess kings and queens used slaves to blow into their mouths regularly while they slept?)

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

When I've put on weight in the past my face was always last to get it so it made sense that it was the first place it dropped from.

As for everything else, my body fat was never really all in one spot. It was pretty evenly distributed to my belly, hips/thighs, boobs and lower-back. So it all is coming off pretty evenly over all the areas.

One thing I have noticed is that most WLS patients have that major drop in facial fat shortly after surgery. It's like our faces drop down way faster than the rest of our body.

The first place I could notice was in the top portion of my belly. Mind you there is still a lot there but that is where it started.

Then it fell off my calves, chest and neck. 2 inches in my neck. Wow. Still need CPAP though.

Now it is really slow coming off my belly though. It is like all the other places are getting their turn.
