I had a friend in college, who was a pretty good looking guy by offensive line standards, and he never dated anything but chubbies. I asked him why once and his answer has remained with me to this day. He said, "Fish, no one loves a fat girl.........but Oh My God how a fat girl can love." I gathered that the enthusiasm factor trumped the potential for serious injury. Or something.
