Spinning Class revelation

hey Brothers....

will I have some soul Baring to do to y'all...

today I got invited to a Spinning class...

and I had a revelation...

OK let me set this up...

I was in the class, and they kept saying get up on your feet...

OK I did...and then my hands started getting raw...I reached in my bag...(still pedaling) and found y weight lifting gloves...OK what should do it...

but no...

so I leaned forward..then my arms and elbows got raw...

OK so I'm still riding, and I start to think,,,,my legs are really OK...nothing major, but my hands arms and shoulders were killing,,,

then the most f**ked up thing ran into my brain....

I was shifting all my weight onto the handle bars...cause I was scared those little peddles were gonna snap off...

I'm doing spinning classes 4 times a week now. Last night was a 90 minute endurance class. I've found that spinning gives me the BEST workout of anything else I've tried. A word of advice-if you're going to continue spinning classes get a pair of padded bike shorts, they make all the difference, and also a gel seat cover-$9.95 at Walmart. I never thought I'd be wearing spandex, but they are the most comfortable thing to wear. I even wear them during my regular workouts.

 O.;K.  you guys got me confused (or worried) .   Are you talking about spinning CLOTH on a wheel, like Snow White and those gals did back in the days of old?        (what's next, "River (clothes) Washing" for exercise?    )


  Personally, the only "spinning" that would interest me would be gals under 5'  / 100 lbs.  

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

Standing while pedaling, for extended periods of time can give you a pretty good upper body workout.

It is bizarre when we see how far behind our minds are from where our body IS.

I looked down at my feet the other day to see that they were jogging across an intersection. When the hell did that happen? What do you mean two feet can be off the ground at the same time. Won't they break? Too bad one of them will really be in a cast on Monday. Oh well. It will get better and I will run next time.

I LOVE SPIN......of course S/M can be hot in many environments...LOL.

It's one of the few work outs that actually get me sweating...I don't lean forward that much...I know odd man out, but it hurts my lower back.
