220 lbs. WooWhoooo!!
Thanks Mars. Yeah, being yanked off the operrating table and told my surgery had to be postponed sucked, but I think it really ended up helping me in the long run. The 2 extra weeks of liquid diet meant my liver shrunk even more, which is probably partly why my surgery went so smoothely!
Great health and happiness back at ya!

Thanks Chad. I remember when I first started researching WLS that reading your story and seeing your before and after photos was very impressive to me, and had a big influence in my decision to have the surgery. Your success was one of the things that really inspired me, along with Boner, Russ, NotDave, and others. Thanks to all of you guys for being here as role models when I was researching and trying to make a life altering decision.
Bob,
You are a great inspiration to me and the rest of the guys here! Your success is awesome and I know that I appreciate all the support you provide!
Now I think I'll still smell a little somethin, but I gotta put my suit on anyway! I think this one's a wet one!

Great work bob... Now I have to buy a new suit!

Excellent Bob..congratulations. I remembered your post on the VR site not too long ago and it inspired me. Since then I have dropped another 30 lbs using a low carb food plan, which seems to be the only thing that works for me, along with the limited amount that the band allows. Almost like a perfect fit! LOL. I began this trek at 455 lbs and could barely ride the bike. At 410 I had the surgery and now im down to 345. My BMI went from 62 to 48. Once I get my knee surgery in Jan I just might be able to start some walking excersises to speed things up. Another 10 lbs and Ill fit back into my old leathers.
Keep it up....Ruffy
