The 2nd greatest fart moment!

The other day I was working at another prison on a special assignment and a female Officer came up to me and  said " I used to work ar WCF with a Dettloff, you related to him".  I smiled and said "yes". " what you think of him."  She said she missed him and he was a great officer.  She then asked me how I was related to him.  I said "hi, Ms B, I'm him", I'm Dettloff."  She smiled said, " Oh my God" and gave me hug.  I smiled all day after that. 

Nothing is sweeter than not being recognized by an old friend you haven't seein in a while!

Wow!! That was one super smelly one! Open a window...light a match and start sprayin some Lysol!! No wonder you smiled all day (and from a female no less!!)

I would have to go up to close friends and family to reintroduce myself many times.  They just pass you by like your a stranger. 

Congrats man!! Feels good doesn't it?  I ran into an ex co-worker of over 20 years a couple of weeks ago. He hadn't seen me since about a year before my surgery. He walked right past me. I called his name and he turned and looked at me with a puzzled look on his face like "How do you know my name?"  As I walked towards him he said "I'll be danged! What happened to you Bob? You're half the man you were! I didn't even recognize you!"   Yep, felt great!!
