On CBS Sunday Morning today they did a feature on a restaurant called the Heart Attack Grill that only serves large cheeseburgers, fries, and regular sodas.  They don't even put any lettuce on the hamburgers.  There are warning signs that eating there may be hazardous to your health.  Their cheeseburgers come in various 1/2 pound patty forms: single, double, triple, and quadruple.  They estimate that a quadruple has 8,000 calories.  You can't get diet soda.  And, as some places have a salad bar, this place has an unlimited french fry bar ( the're fried in lar).  The french fry bar also features unlimited condiments including hot cheese and catsup.  Whew!  I couldn't even have a single.  If I go to a fast food restaurant, I get a $1 cheeseburger and don't eat the bun.  I know you're at BK, but I could never understand how McD can get away with charging more for a Big Mac than they do for 2 $1 double cheeseburgers.

It is funny you said that I got a picture text from a friend in AZ the othe nite. He was at the heart attack grill and I got two pics one of the quad stack burger and the other of the waitress bent over picking something up. Apperantley they have young well built help and I just have to go there with him the next time im in town. hhhhmmmmmmm let me see I wonder who this place is geared twords......?

How has everything been going havent talked in awhile?

I am a firm believer that restaurants like that should be required to post nutritional fact beside each menu item they serve and be required to offer healthier options McDonald's has been good about that in recent years. Not that any of the would make a HUGE difference but it might make people think twice about that extra cheese Berger or weather or not to have a salad instead of fries with their meal.

 Yes, but check out their hot waitresses, dressed in the "naughty nurses" outfits!   {+];-)    Now THAT would give any red-blooded guy a h.a. before the food would!   &;-) 

 BK is about the only burgers (fastfood) that I have been able to get down easy since my surgery, probably due to the "flame-broiling" ..  I often have a Whopper Jr., w. cheese (no lettuce, extra mayo) for lunch at work .. I have been able to eat a regular Whopper w. cheese though, but felt stuffed ..  

 I didn't know BK would allow customers to add extra beef to their sandwiches ..  Man, I'd just make him buy 2 (or 3) double Whoppers instead ..

  Dang, Derrick ..  you got me scared when you say it's "more money than been making in the last couple of years" ..  what type of work were you doing back then???   You're a sharp-looking guy now and in your 40s ..  I don't know how small that town is  in OR that you and the family live in, but it eems like there should be some good sales opportunities out there for you, if nothing more ..  Just don't let the "fat man" old poor self- image thing get in the way of being all you can be now  ..  I know how that can be ..  &:-/)  

It is a very small town but we live 25 miles outside of town in a smaller town called glide. I used to work in a little drive through coffee shop there. Well things went bad and I was forced to drive to town for work. Our town is mostly a logging industry place where there are thousands of guys laid off right now so compittion for work is tough. We have only about 8 more mounths till our youngest graduates high school then were going somewhere closer to an airport. The wife makes all the money well she used to....lol
