Well, I had my surgery! So far so good. I'll be sticking around my hotel for couple of weeks until my surgeon tells me I can go home.

Just wanted to thank everybody for their advice, it really helped!

For those of you that are about to take this journey, I highly reccommend reading any posts here to get some great insight. I guarantee it will help

But most of all I wanted to say move on over and make some room on the bench!

My surgery was in Houston, I'm from the Austin area, about a 4 hour drive. It's one of the requirements of my Doctor, to stay in area until the first post op and then stick around at least another week after to make sure everything is OK. If everything checks out after my post op, I'll probably see if he'll let me go back home. The hotel is across from his office and about a 1/2 mile from the Hospital. Actually I'm in the Houston Medical City area.
