I got one from the dietetian today she said I was above the curve for weight loss. 54lbs to date and my waist has gone down 10 inches.............................
I have had a difficult time finding calcium citrate that I could afford and today I got on line with a bulk food supplier and purchased 5 lbs for 27.64 including shipping.

Why would you want to take calcium carbonate? It's the wrong kind of calcium for post op bariatric patients, we don't have the acid to process in our bodies. Calcium citrate is the kind that a RNYer or DSer or VSGer needs to take.
BTW calcium carbonate is really really cheap, you can go to the dollar store and get the dollar version of Tums and that has 500 mg of calcium carbonate, but you're better off sticking to calcium citrate.

Congrats dude! It's so invigorating and really makes you want to push on when you get news like that.
5 days after my sleeve got put in i went to buy a scale at blood, bath and beyond but they only did 400lbs. so i said screw it i'll wait. So i went back today for the halibut and was just going to grab one, but decided to try it out of curiousity. It actually projected 398.7lbs! I shed a tear and had a sh*t eating grin on my face the whole time I was in the store. Down 23lbs from day before surgery. I felt so accomplished and it gave me the extra boost I have now to strive for more and stick to the plan no matter what!
