What Are the "Perfect" Bodily Measurements?
I was watching a '60s movie earlier today and one of the guys in the show was telling another fellow enthusiastically how his g/f had the "perfect" dimensions of 38-28-36 ..
I had always heard that the" perfect" or ideal measurements for a gal are 36-24-36 ...
So, has the ideal gal "downsized" over the last few years, or which one is right?
As to us guys, I read a long time ago that our chest should be like 4" or 6" (can't remember which) bigger than our waist, with our upper arms and calves about the same, with the thighs 50% bigger than those ..
Does that sound about correct?

Batswingsman,
Haven't you hit the yoga school yet? Here are the benefits:
"Among yoga's anti-stress benefits are a host of biochemical responses. For example, there is a decrease in catecholamines, the hormones produced by the adrenal glands in response to stress. Lowering levels of hormone neurotransmitters -- dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine -- creates a feeling of calm. Some research points to a boost in the hormone oxytocin. This is the so-called "trust" and "bonding" hormone that's associated with feeling relaxed and connected to others. That may be why so many romances start in the yoga studio."

wow .. I'm sold, NotDave!
Now, if I can just find a Yoga class with a lot of gals in it .. Unfortunately, the only one I've found so far is, and get this, a nude men's yoga group ..
Strange, in that this nude men's yoga group meets at a location in the predominantly gay section of town (they will only give you the exactly dates/times/locations if you satisfy the group leader you are sincere
) The group's website claims that the purpose of the group is so that yoga can be practiced in the traditional (i.e. nude) manner and is NOT for the purposes of "hooking up" or engaging in sexual contact with other members, and anyone caught doing same during the class will be expelled ..
I don't know about ya'll and maybe call me "paranoid", but I would think if I was doing yoga nude only with other naked dudes something other than just "exercise" is the main attraction there ..

Wow.
I'm absent from the boards for a while, and come back to this kind of discussion?
From where most of us have come from, why would we even consider the thought of imposing an "Ideal measurement" upon women?
Sorry, but the very idea is offensive. Trust me, I'm not PC by any measuring stick, but at the same time, I know that when I weighed nearly 700lbs, I didn't want anyone judging me by my size. Even now, at 270, I'm still "fat" by 98% of the world's standards. (Yeah, that's a little over 400lbs weight loss.)
The difference is, now, when someone makes that judgement on me, I have the self-confidence to tell them to shove it up thier ass.
The weight loss journey isn't just a physical one, but an emotional one as well.
In the famous words of Forrest Gump, "That's all I have to say about that."
