Welcome,
Congrats on your RNY! It will be quite a year for you! I can't believe how many changes have occured for me since last April. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. You will find the male approach here, different from the female approach. The attitude here is you know what you need to do (if you don't people are happy to answer questions) when you mess up they will tell you to get you act together, they will congratulate you with your successes, but you will not get any coddleing.
Good luck and don't be afraid to ask any question, someone here has had the same experience.
These first few weeks post op that you are in are the hardest, before you know it, you will start feeling "normal" with this new life.

I'm new on here as well, got all my pre auth hoops done, now just waiting for an approval from the insurance company. This forum definately seems more realistic and a better approach to WLS compared to the general forum. Guys need a guys perspective to it instead of what women think. From everything I have heard from people I have talked to who have had the surgery, WLS affects men a lot different then it does women. So taking the advise from women on it just seems kinda dumb in my opinion. Sure some of the advise is good but why not get the advise from someone who is going through exactly the same **** as you.
