Good Times

I must say that I have no regrets in taking the leap of faith and having my RNY.

The results are in for my 2 month surgiversary (which was 3 days ago).

I am down a total of 89lbs fom heaviest weight and 66lbs from surgery.

I just got a few new clothes (a pair of jeans and 2 t shirts).  I just needed something to get by the other clothes were ridiculous on me.  Was fitting into a 58/60 pants and 6X shirt (damn moobs).  I now wear a 52 pants and a 4X shirt (f$%^ moobs).  Soon I will be able to pick up clothes in the Big and Tall section of JC Penny and Walmart!

Thanks for the support and encouraging words - This is a call to everyone to get on here and brag about their accomplishments, ask their questions, and complain like hell when they need to - cuz it all helps someone in need.

The fricken moobs don't go away.  I am down to a LG shirt and 32/32 pants, should be wearing a bra...

A good strong duct tape will help those. OUCH

I have been absolutly astounded in the difference that has taken place with my health in the last two years.  I haven't felt this good since I was 23, and that was a few years ago.   No RX, no pain, no regrets!
Keep up the great attitude Dan.  Enjoy the ride to the max.

Congrats on that great weight loss! I was out shopping today and realized that I can buy normal clothes. So, I know how you feel to have some choices in clothes.

Congrats to ya Dan! I concur with your sentiments about WLS. The results, both in weight loss and improved health, have been nothing short of amazing to me.  Keep up the good work - it just keeps gettin; better!

Great news Dan!  The moobs DO suck, don't they?  Mine are only noticeable when I lean over to pick up something or during, uhh..intimate moments...yeah, that's a real turn on.  LOL 

Aint it something how losing weight can turn even the manliest man into a shopping fool?  I absolutely love to buy clothes now.  I NEVER thought I'd say that.  I'm a "deal hunter" by nature and it is UNREAL how much cheaper "regular sized" clothes are compared to the big/tall shops.  Also, the smaller the size, the better the deal.  Really, check it out!  I told my wife just the other day:  If I can get into a medium sized shirt, I can save a bundle!
