Steroids.
All right, taking a chance here, but its a men's forum, so let me ask a question.
I had the surgery almost three years ago. Last year had the plastic. I have been weight training and have started to build quite a bit of good mass. I am thinking about running a cycle of winthrol. Anyone know of someone who has had our procedure that has done this. I have researched "whinny" alot, so I know the side effects, risks associated, etc, looking for information on how the new plumbing will effect the absorbtion rate of winthrol (oral steroid)?

I would be awfully surprised if "Winthrol" contained any steroids, and even if it did, I suspect that it's called "Winthrol" to mislead potential buyers into thinking (incorrectly) that it contains stanozolol, the active ingredient in "Winstrol".
No advice as to absorption, though speaking generally, most oral immediate-release drugs don't present problems. It *is* true that birth control pills sometimes are less effective after WLS; this is believed to be due to inadequate absorption of the ethinyl estradiol, the estrogen. I'm not sure how much you can extrapolate from this.

This makes me wonder whether "Winthrol" is a counterfeit or "designer steroid" with a suggestive name. Hard to say!
I lift with a guy now who takes it and he has had great results. i'm not looking for bulk, I have spent three years getting bigger through traditional lifting. I am big enough. I am looking for the cutting action. my buddy used it once a year ago, and it helped him greatly, and he has not regained the weight. I have a love handles that just wont go away. I guess i am trying to avoid going back under the knife. i work out 5-6 days a week, eat right, and cant get rid of my side bags. Maybe at 36 I never will, and seeing I started at 411 pounds I should be happy, but I want a thin middle to match the rest of my body!

Winstrol(stanozolol)Winstrol - Stanozolol is a very commonly used anabolic steroid for cutting cycles. While many people will attempt to use Dianabol or even Anadrol for cutting cycles, I´ve really never heard of anyone using Stanozolol for anything except a cutting cycle. It´s a bit of a one-trick-pony in this respect. Let me repeat that: Stanozolol is a cutting drug. Not many people will argue for its use in a bulking cycle. It´s certainly not a very effective compound for treating anemia (1) and thus, one could rightly assume that its role in bulking cycles is very limited. One novel use for Winstrol in any cycle (perhaps even bulking) would be to use it at a very limited dose, in order to lower SHBG. (2) One of the properties of Winstrol is it´s profound ability to lower SHBG much more than other steroids. A dose of .2mg/kg lowered SHBG significantly, which would in turn, raise the amount of free testosterone circulating in the body. As with 99% of steroids, however, it´s important to note that suppression of your natural hormonal levels will occur (though perhaps not to the extent that it will with many other steroids).(10) As with running virtually any compound, testosterone supplementation (i.e. running test in a cycle containing Winstrol) is warranted to avoid possible sexual dysfunction.Winstrol & Stanozol Side EffectsAdding it to a heavy bulking cycle could be problematic, as Stanozolol is a 17aa compound, meaning that it´s been altered to endure the first pass through your liver without being destroyed. This makes it an orally active compound; so many people choose to take the pills which are available from both legitimate pharmaceutical companies as well as Underground Labs. Unfortunately, since it is 17aa, it is also liver toxic& in fact; Stanozolol has one of the worst hepatoxicity (mg for mg) of any steroid. This is the reason its addition to a bulking cycle could be problematic; generally a bulking cycle will be very heavy, dosage wise as well as toxicity-wise. It also has undesirable results on Cholesterol, and a mere 6mgs/day of Stanozolol can lower HDL by 33% and raise LDL by 29% (3). Cardiac Hypertrophy, even at lower doses could be a concern with Winstrol as well (4) Thus, many people limit their intake of Stanozolol to precontest or Summer-cutting types of cycles. It´s generally accepted that due to the toxicity issues of Stanozolol, its use should be limited to 6 weeks& as with anything though, many people have run it for up to 12 weeks with no problems. |

This can sometimes be nothing at all, or just a mild laboratory test derangement, but in the high doses used by some bodybuilders, liver toxicity can be a real problem.

Winstrol, or "Winnie", is one brand name for the steroid Stanazolol. It is typically used by bodybuilders as part of a "cutting" cycle to strip body fat and fluids (from using other androgenic/anabolic steroids) in preparation for contests. It is also one of the steroids of choice for females since it has low androgenic (masculazing) properties. Some "gym rats" use it, and any other steroid they can get their hands on, anytime. Stanozolol is a ONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, and is ILLEGAL to have in your possession, as is any anabolic steroid.
As I have said before, I was a certified personal trainer and owned a gym for several years. Steroid use of any kind is RISKY - in more ways than one. You can get busted and face some legal consequences. You can also have medical reactions or complications from the use of ANY steroid that is not administered and monitored by a physician. Another problem with steroids is that since they are illegal, they are boought from some sleazebag who is dealing out of the trunck of his car. You have no idea if it is a legitimate product or was made in some garage lab, you have no idea what is really in it, and you have no way of knowing if it has been maintained and stored undeer the correct temperatures and conditions. Having said all that, if someone wants to use steroids, they will find someone who knows someone who has a "connection", and they will buy it and try it.
I find it ironic to go through this surgery to try and improve one's health, and then take a bottle of some substance that you really have no idea where or how it was made, or if it is legit or pure, and inject it into your azz or swallow a handful of pills that may cause you harm or even kill you. Just my $.02.

I appreciate your opinion. I know everything you say is true. However, if we were to stick with all natural ways of losing weight and getting fit, none of us would have had the surgery. think about it, what we did was take a short cut to getting ourselves to a healthy lifestyle. Then for some of us, (like me) we went under the knife to get extra skin removed. Risks, associated with this surgery, all to look and feel better. I understand the associated health and legal risks involved, if you owned a gym, your the last guy I need to tell about the pharma. reps, and even Dr's peddling this. i'm not talking about going to a corner and getting this.
Any who, as I stated nothing you said I disagree with other then the fact that why would you go through the surgery, etc, and then take the risk. this whole thing has been a risk. There is know way I can refute you about it being stupid, it is...thats why I havnt done it already.
