I got approved!!!!

YAY!!!  I found out today that I was approved for my RNY surgery by the insurance company.  Now I just have to wait until the doctors office gets confirmation from the insurance company, that will be tomorrow.  Then just have to figure out how to come up with the $2700 coinsurance ASAP!  I can have that or at least the majority of that within a month or so but still.  The hard part is over!  YAY

You get done don't forget the Four Mantras of Life Post WLS:

1.  Sip, sip, sip.  Need the fluids.
2.  Walk, walk, walk.  Need the excercise and prevent blood clots.
3.  Any problems - CALL YOUR DOCTOR!!  'nuff said.
4.  Except on the Men's board - never, and I mean NEVER TRUST A FART!!  You may wind up having a "laundry emergency"!

That's great news. Man that copay is high but as I think about it mine would now be that high too

Congrats to ya!   Now use the time until your surgery to read, research, ask questions and get mentally prepared and determined for life after your surgery to be successful!

Congrats!  For me that was the hardest part - the waiting and wondering.
