Goodbye 200s
So, yesterday when I weighed in the morning it looked like I might actually be there but it was more like 199.7 or something so I waited. This morning I weighed at home and it looked closer to 199.
I decided (since I work at a hospital) to go to the nutrition office and weigh myself on a professional scale with clothes on (no shoes or coat, nor beeper) after breakfast (cup of kashi cereal , milk, coffee) and FART the scale revealed 198. I haven't been there for over 20 years.
Anyway, I think I am in denial and don't want to believe it for some reason. I'm probably scared that I will not stay here long since I have been watching some fo my old habits sneak in slowly.
I still hope to get down to 180 as my goal. Right now weight is coming off at 1-2 lbs a week. I am starting to work in some resistance training on my arms (My wife says that she misses my bigger stronger arms, for some reason my arms have shrunk and look pretty skinny) People are actually starting to tell me that I shouldn't lose more weight, but there is still plenty to lose around my mid section and thighs.
Anyway, I thought I would be more happy about this, but the success scares me a little (maybe a lot).

Congratulations! I want that so bad, but it just seems like my weight loss is going in slow motion right now. Lately I've limited carbs/sugars a lot and have stepped up the cardio but it's really slow. The inches are dropping so I know it isn't all in vain.
Again congrats to you (and with all your clothes on too!).

Congrats to ya!!
When I stepped on the scales a couple of weeks ago and it read 197, I couldn't believe it. I stepped off and stepped back on 2 more times and it still read 197. I thought - "Something wrong with my scales". So, I went to my sister's and weighed on her scales. SURPRISE! Her scales read 196!!
I then realized that I actually was below 200 lbs. I tell ya, it's dang near unbelievable!
