I did 25 minutes on my wii fit. It was the first time I have been able to use it, I am finally light enough to use it. I have tell you it is the most fun I have ever had exercising, time seemed to fly by. I was good because I could mix up the exercises. I don't know if it is real exercise but it is a hell of alot more then what I have been doing.

Joined a Karate Dojo and did two hours of moves and Kata. It's Shotokan Karate (almost non-existent in the west), so no real sparring. Blocking practice, yes. Really sparring, no.
Also doing more weights and rotator cuff work since my doc found a thin spot in my main rotator cuff tendon (the supraspinatus). It is a challenge to get everything done while being prohibited to lift my elbows to shoulder level for any exercise. Pullups are out, the ab wheel is out. Benches and pushups are out, unless I can keep my elbows touching my torso.
My main solution? Since I have a killer back, I do multiple sets of deadlifts with 300 or so lbs. This has the shoulder joint sitting bone-on-bone (Hi Bone! Are you here?) and with multiple sets works the shoulders isometrically from the massive tension that builds. So don't think I'm losing anything.
Also doing lots of PT on myself in the way of shoulder blade and upper spine alignment. Anyone seen the "Inside Out, the Ultimate Upper Body Warmup" routine? It's made by physios and I recommend it to anyone who has shoulder issues.
Keep the Faith,
Dave
