NH Senator/WLSer Bob Clegg - Fighter For WLS!
Some great news on the fight against insurance companies. Senator Clegg, a recent RNYer himself who found he had to cash pay for his WLS b/c of an insurance exclusion, initiated successful legislation in NH requiring that WLS be made available by insurers in his state (from Ecanada and the Obesity Action Coalition's enewsletter #2):

Wasn't it MS (or maybe AL?) that was passing that law that would fine overweight state employees or charge them more for health care, or some such, Daniel? 
btw, I think only 5 or 6 states at present have laws like the one now in place in NH by Clegg .. Maybe someday that will be the law in EVERY state .. !
