good news bad news goodnews
As you all know I was laid off back in November, this morning I was offered a job. The bad news it s 5 hours away. The good news it is a state job. With todays economy I will be accepting the position, It will be tough I will have to get a efficiency because we would probably take a loss if we tried to sell our house at this time. I will be gone 5 nights a week but between the phone and email and text messageing it won't be to bad. So any one out there looking keep looking eventually something will come along and be open to any offer you have nothing to lose by listening.

I won't say that any job is better than no job, but just about any job is better than no job. Congratulations. And roll with the punches. Don't look like it's gonna be much fun for a long time.

I was lucky enough to land a state job almost 2 years ago, it's the best thing I ever did! The benefits covered my surgery with no conditions or exclusions whatsoever. What agency are you with?
