My surgery is scheduled for March 2nd - Dr. Julio A. Teixeira, in New York, NY.

One week to go - I'm having cold feet. Not because of the surgery itself, but rather because I'm afraid of the massive lifestyle change... forever.

3/11 - RNY - Dr. Overcash in Ocala, FL

I'm scheduled, pending insurance approval.  Should know this week. 

On a side note, I chickened out in '05 for the same surgery and went ahead and gave 110% into a full gym/lifestyle change, lost 50lbs and couldn't break under 300#.  I've since given up and am back up towards 350# and ready to do it again, this time with the surgery.

I am having Lap Band at St Mary's Hospital in Virginia, On March 12, Dr Matthew Brengman.

Welcome! Another Richmonder.  A lot of my youth revolved around St. Mary's. We were always taking people there or visiting them there. Then, I dated a medication technician who worked there. (I was a real go getter - I took 'er work, then I'd go get 'er!). Living in Japan now, so wondering if there's any real sumo connection or is that just a handle? Good luck, Dave

LOL sumo cause my ass is so big... but besides that I am part Japanese also, My grandfather was from Japan.
