That's all I have to say really.

I would normally disagree but I managed to somehow **** mine off about some comment I allegedly made to her brother's girlfriends 25 year old son. How she got involved I do not know but now she doesn't talk to me.

The quiet has been a blessing.

Losttxn has a point. Cant remember which one of my ex's I liked the most LOL
Better be careful, like a bad penny, they can show up at worst possible time.  There are as many ex jokes a lawyer jokes - ever wonder why

Yesterday just wasn't a good day I don't guess. This all started with a letter that I received about 3 months ago from the IRS saying that there was a mistake on my 2006 taxes and we owed over $900. I double checked everything and the IRS was correct. I saw where they were talking about and it was legit. I scanned the letter and emailed it to my ex. It wasn't a big deal. She didn't have the money then to pay her half, so we decided to wait until we got our tax returns this year. Well, that letter was just a notification. It wasn't an actual bill, so we were waiting on the actual bill to come in. That came in this week. She got a copy and I got a copy as well.

She filed her taxes at the end of January and has already spent her return. Since they didn't have the bill assessed at that point, she got to keep her taxes. Me? I filed a little bit later and they already had the amount assessed, so I was told yesterday by the IRS that they are keeping that amount out of mine.

I sent the ex a casual email letting her know that I talked to hte IRS and they were keeping that amount out of my taxes and asked if there was any way she could give me her half. She comes back and tells me she will give me the $20 per month she was planning on giving them. This would mean that in 2 short years, I would finally have what I paid on her behalf.

I replied back with something to the effect of, "you have got to be kidding, we have known about this for months" and then I added that "I wish they had taken it out of your return, because I know I would have paid you my half of it". She replied back, "I am going to have to check the divorce decree, because I don't think I'm liable for this". That went all up and down my spine.

We shared a few more choice words in a few emails going back adn forth and then I get an email from HER BOYFRIEND!!!! He said "Trent, I am going to nicely ask you to watch how you throw your words around". Now, since when did he get involved in my affairs? Since when did I have to answer to him? I don't have a problem with her discussing things with him since they may have a future with them, but I don't need to be discussing things with him. It's not of his business as far as I'm concerned.

Now, my fiancee would like to reply to messages from her from time to time and she doesn't, because she knows it's not her place. I discuss things with her and get her opinions, because that's what we do, but she would never send a message to her saying she doesn't like the way she talks to me, even though she would probably really like to dip her head in the toilet and flu**** a few times.

Thanks for your replies and thanks for letting me unload. I couldn't have done this on any other forum. I would have been bashed!

Oh man, I hear you.  Tell her that if she would like a $20 a month payment plan with you like she was planning to do with the IRS; Then you will be charging her rediculas interest on the balance, and while at it, just like the IRS, tell her to bend over and grab the lube.
