X-post Sore Tailbone?

I know I saw this over six months ago but I did not think I could possible ever loose enough to need to know. My tail bone hurts all the time. What can I do to help that out?

I want to say someone gave some exercises that helped build the muscle to protect it due to loss of fat. Any ideas out there?

Mine was hurting a couple months ago but has stopped lately.  I had forgotten about it til you brought it up.  Hopefully, things will improve for you with time and the excercises you are doing.  I would imagine that squats would help.

I am almost a year out and some days, my tailbone just burns, other days it is not too bad.  I sometimes wonder how skinny people deal with it.  If you find anything that really helps please let me know

I have learned how to sit differently and only on soft chairs and what now. Doing more exercises for my lower half (squats, lunges, etc.) has seemed to help somewhat but that took a while (and still a work in progress).

I saw a show on Discovery where a lady had to have it shaved down after losing a lot of weight. Looked painful.

I avoid hard chairs.  Had to sit through a 3 hour class just the other day in an empty district courtroom on "church style" pews.  OMG!  I thought I would DIE!  I feel your pain, literally.

Yeah, my tailbone sometimes hurts now that I don't have the extra 200+ pounds of padding on my azz!  Avoid hard chairs, bleachers, etc. - or carry a butt cushion.

This is just too much fun! Not.

But it is better than not being able to tie my shoes.  By a long shot.
