Sunday Weekly Weigh In
Well, down another pound this week to 194. Slow and steady....
Tried chicken twice this week. It appears my pouch does not care for it even 7 months out. Fruits are working for me finally.
What are your numbers this week? What are your successes? What are you struggling with?

I am at 187 - BMI of 26.8. Highest weight - 318 with a BMI of 45.6, weight at surgery - 295 with a BMI of 42.2.
My first goal weight was 192 - 80 percent of excess weight (highest weight).
My second goal weight was 187 - 80 percent of my excess weight (day of surgery) that I met today.
I have met my original goals. I don't have a specific weight now but hope to lose 10 or 15 pounds in 6 months. I might have a tummy tuck at that point but I am not sure about that.

Hello. First, congrats on all your weight loss success stories. I started out at 385 the morning of my surgery. About 6 months prior to that, at my heaviest, I was 450. My current weight as of today is 223. I feel SUPER! My jeans size was 52 and shirt sizes were 5xl and now wearing a size 36 waist jeans and size XL shirts, some 2xl too. Keep up with the great work everyone! -Bruce.
Weight is holding within the 173-175 range so not going to ***** about that. Still have not bottomed out at 171 again and would like to before I go to Dallas to see my gastric surgeon for one year follow up in 10 days. Upped the water since I have not been getting a lot of it lately maybe that will help along with some more exercise and cut the damn grazing out.
As I posted last week I bought some 36 regular fit Wranglers last weekend and to quote a line from Mac Davis song Hard to be Humble "...maybe it has something to do with how I fill out my skin tight blue jeans..." Sig other can't keep her hands off my ass when I have them on!
Still in contention on two jobs. Have not seen a "thank you, but no thank you" letter from either nor have I gotten a phone call saying I've moved to the next round. WTF!!
More hurry up and wait.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
I had surgery on Tuesday but decided last week that Sunday would be my official weigh in and measurement day. Last Sunday was 272, today was 266, down six pounds.
After trying several different protien drinks I went back to what my wife used. It is Solgar Whey to Go protein in Chocolate cocoa bean along with 4oz 1% milk, shot of DaVinci Kahlua, and some shaved ice all mixed in a magic bullet.
I could not stand any of the Nectar products

368 on Fr 03-27 I usually get weighed on Th but waited til Fri due to bad weather. I'm experiencing a stall. I weigh and measure all of the food that I eat at home and I'm pretty good at eyeballing it when I go out to eat 2-3 times a week. I usually bring at least half of my meal home with me. I'm trying to increase activity. I do have prostate problems and take Flomax so I'm really maxed out with taking fluids (water, coffee, and crystal lite).
I really got down on myself when I came home from being weighed. I knew I wasn't about to go and break my diet. My wife reminded me of how well I have been doing and noted that I do know that stalls and even slight temporary gains are part of the weight loss process. I was feeling fine by the next morning. I'm happy without being manic. You don't understan--I'm just not used to being happy. It's weird for me. I can appreciate Randall's morning coffee posts now.
