Back Pain?
Ah, that's where my back pain went. I have 2 ruptured disks and after losing the weight, following RNY, I have noticed that my back and knees do not hurt near as bad. Now I have been having a lot of pain in my shoulders that I never had before. Perhaps I didn't notice them before because of my back knee and foot pain. Otherwise who's shoulder pain is missing? I found it!

I honestly can't tell if it's the same or worse since dropping tonage. I know after standing for a period of time and walking long distances it definitely pains me. I'm not sure if it's vertibre or muscles. I know when they tried to give me the spinal block for surgery they tried seven times and couldn't get through, so they could well be compressed.
I have a primarily desk job, and found by afternoon my a$$ is killing me! Sort of a tailbone issue I think. Granted, I have lost my natural padding, so I have attributed it to that. I find I have to get up and walk it off - and it takes quite some time to feel better.
On the other hand, my knee pain is 99% gone - weather changes still appear occasionally, and I have had no real mid back pain since I lost my first 30 pounds.
One more weird thing - I find I still walk like I have a weight in the front of me - sort of hunched over. I am consiously trying to correct my posture.
