issues going...
For me it comes in both extremes at times. Too soft or too hard. Anyway I was told by the doctor that taking stool softener is OK and I did for a while. I have included more fiber in my diet. I have a Kashi granola bar once a day. I also make sure that I get extra fluids in each day. I also add some farmer's brand to my protein shakes.

thanks guys, I will be calling my DR in the morning as it is only getting worse, not better. I know I am drinking at least 64 oz of water per day because I measure it... plus protien shanks and sometimes soup broth. so I dont think lake of water is the issue, but I sure could be wrong.
thanks again!!
thanks again!!
Maker sure you get all your water in each day. I find that adding a tablespoon of raisins to my cereal or oatmeal in the morning helps too. Exercise, walking, helps weep things moving too - if you haven't started, now is the time :-)
Had to go to the protologist this week for hemorroids (nice, huh?). My stools are normally very pasty and hard to wipe clean. He suggested Metamucil, I'm trying that.
