ONE YEAR AGO

One year ago before surgery I weighed 400 pounds...As of today I weigh 290 pounds. No true reason for the comment.. I just had to put it out there because I cant believe what a surgeons blade and a HUGE amount of determination can do for a person. I can believe its been a year.

Way to go on the 110 pound drop!  I give more credit to your determination than the surgeons blade.  WLS is just a tool and if you don't keep your mind right and your body moving it won't keep the weight off long term.  Great job!

Congrats bully!  You're absolutely right  - the surgeon's blade gives us the tool to use, but we have to supply the effort and exercise for it to work as efficiently as it can. Dedication and determination to follow the program our WL surgeon and team set up for us and to exercise are the key, IMO.

Its just so hard to fathom that this all started a year ago because of one pair of pants. I know there's still that LONG winding road ahead and a LOT more weight to loose before I reach my goal but, WOW a YEAR.. We all have our mile stones but, when you're comes its such a GREAT feeling..  I wish this for everyone...........
I just wish I had this much determination 10 years ago.
