Sorry I have not been around.
Basically I have BPPV - Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. I have not been to work or out of bed fpr over a week. I get severely dizzy when I move my head. It finally feels a little better so I am going back to work today. I get an attack if I move my head too fast.
The symptoms of BPPV include dizziness or vertigo, lightheadedness, imbalance, and nausea. Activities which bring on symptoms will vary among persons, but symptoms are almost always precipitated by a change of position of the head with respect to gravity. Getting out of bed or rolling over in bed are common "problem" motions . Because people with BPPV often feel dizzy and unsteady when they tip their heads back to look up, sometimes BPPV is called "top shelf vertigo."

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
Welcome back Snicklefritz. I had BPPV for several months after my quad accident. Was glad it has left and hope it doesn't return.
Hope you are able to find some relief soon!

I'm glad you're back. I had a computer line problem and was away for a week. At least you may be able to go to work. I have different mental problems. I occasionally have problems with moving my head faster than my body and that generally causes me to lose my balance and sometimes I fall. Then I have to call 911 to have someone come out to help me stand up. I also have to watch myself when getting up if I've laid my head flat. ( below the level of my heart).
Snickerdoodledude there u are!
I noticed someone posted a funny last night and it made me think of you and your humor posts, and got me to wondering where you wandered off to ... I was going in fact to post tonight as to whether anyone had heard from ya of late ..
wow . . that condition sounds a little like Meniere's Syndrome .. Do they know where it originates in . . the middle ear? the brain itself?
Glad to see you back!
