Need an Answer

I'm 26 days out and as of about 3 days ago I've been having a sharp pain just under diaphram about  2-3 inches from the bottom of my rib cage. When I apply just a little pressure its a sharp pain. When I lay on my stomach or my right side I feel it. Other than that I feel fine. I've had no fever or any other pain. Has anyone else experienced this?  

I haven't had this , however it sounds like something that you need to let your surgeon know about. Be safe Puma

I would remember rule # 3 above and call your surgeon's office, doesn't cost you anything.

Could be normal.. Might NOT!! Best think is to check with the DOCTOR. Anything that caused discomfort needs to be checked out by your doctor. I wouldnt stress over it yet though. You're body is healing after MAJOR surgery you're going to feel some weird things as that happens most of the completely normal some of them might not be. You wont know and you will stress over it until you do,, So call the doctor.

It sounds like you could be developing a post-op hiatal hernia ..  You should contact your surgeon right away and get in for an exam ..
