What constitutes a stall - time/weight

I definately have slowed down as far as the weight loss.  I am 107/109 pounds down in 5 1/2 months.  Not complaining.  If I didn't lose another ounce and stayed the same I would be content - not happy - content.  But I have been playing around with the same 3 pounds for a week and 1/2 to 2 weeks.  I have been busy at work and school so gym attendance is down for that period.  But following program as usual, shake in morning, protein bar mid morning, salad at lunch with protein, protein bar mid afternoon, Dinner and evening snack (if need be) who am I kidding snack every night, low sugar ice cream 1/2 cup or fruit.  So is my body just catching up with itself again.  Should I expect a drop at some point?  Just curious.  Best Regards to All.

Drop the ice cream and protein bars and you'll probably start dropping again.

I agree some of the protien bars have a lot of calories.  Stalls usually last almost 3 weeks so you shouldn't be too worried.  I will say it a million times, don't weigh yourself until you are on or close to maintenance (somewhere between 9 and 12 months), use your clothing as your guide.  The scale will make you crazy, you may be moving weight and not losing and the scale doesn't tell you that.

I talked to my doctor about the same thing at one point and he said that it's not considered a stall or a plateau unless you are at the exact same weight for 6 weeks or more. I would give it a little longer. I would imagine you already checked your protein bar calorie intake, so I really don't see what you're doing is bad. It may just be the fact that your exercise slowed down. Pick that back up and I think you'll get right back on it. Good luck.
