I'm Back!
It won't be long now! I can't believe the places I climbed and how easily I stalked the antelope. Nor can I believe believe how far I walked on foot with no major effort there. The best moment for me was when I shot my first doe I was all alone, so there was no one to assist me in harvesting her. I did just fine all by myself. When I returned to camp with her I was asked by my hunting buddies, "How did you get her dressed and back to camp alone?" A year and a half ago I could never have done i alone. this year it wasn't totally easy, but I could and did do it. I should mention that this was the largest doe antelope I ever shot and the largest anyone else there has ever seen, so it was no small task bringing her back to camp alone.
Edit: I forgot to ask; How have you been doing since your surgery?
