Going to the middle east
Hello all
I found out that I'm being deployed to the middle east.
I have volunteered for this. I just got the word on fri. and wanted to confirm this before I posted anything about it. There will be some training I must go through before I go , but I am shcheduled to go in Jan. This will be for 120 days with an opp. to stay for another eight months IF I WANT. If not I will be back just in time for the summer.
I will be at Al Udeib Air base in Qatar
I here its a reall beauty of a place. Good diving , good fishing , and I wont be in the thick of things

Qatar is a great place- compared to some of the other possibilities.. lol .
