Well I did it!  I broke down and bought a set of weights to work out with at home.  Nearest gym is fifteen miles away.  I'm not training to be Mr. Universe but to get some upper body strength back.  So far so good.  Not putting up a lot of weight but give it some time!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Even though I finished the week at exactly the same weight, I was down 2.5 lbs early in the week and then back up 2.5 lbs.   Not sure why but could just be normal fluctuations.

The scale read 251 lbs this week. That's a loss of nine pounds last week. Eight pounds the week before. That's so much better than the ZERO pounds I lost three weeks ago.

Only one more pound to reach one of my goals. I wanted to weigh 250 by April so I could start riding a bicycle again without breaking the bike.

I'm trying to break into that 190 range.  Last week I weighed in at 205.  On sunday the scale read 199....i got on and off 6 different times to make sure, it was def 199.  But i didn't get excited, because my weight fluctates day to day, always does.  Since mondays are my 'official' weigh in day for myself, i waited till monday to see what it says.........and of course it was back up to 201.  So frustrating....but I know it will come down, I shouldn't have got on the scale sunday in the first place.  Still had a 4 # weight loss for the week, so that's good.....just want to finally be in the 100s for good.  Can't wait.

My advice would be, drive the 15 miles to the gym to workout. Take the weights back to the store while you can still find the reciept.

Your chance of success would be greatly increased
