It's so good to see you posting. I'm glad things have turned out OK. Still gonna hold you in some healing light for a while. Don't go all macho and try to go back to work too soon, ya hear?

It's great to hear you are doing better and home from the hospital.  Getting an obstruction and not knowing about it right away is the one thing that scares me a little

That was sure a  scary experience for you Brok, and for your mom. It makes me stop and think, "was that pain I just had or was it just gas?" I did have some pain and farts quite a bit the last two days, but now I believe it was gas and now am constipated for a change, doesn't happen that often anymore, but I needed to take some MiraLax twice, last night and this morning. I appreciate you sharing your story for those of us questioning any pain or twinge we may get.

Brok,

I am so happy that all is resolved and well!

You are the first DS'er that I have heard of that has had a blockage in the Bilio limb, although I was warned about it on the duodenal switch site so maybe someone over there has had it happen.

Thanks for sharing,

Michele

Brok, it all sounds so awful. I'm sorry you had to endure all that, but I'm glad you are okay and it sounds like there won't be any lasting issues from the complications.

It's a good reminder that if something doesn't seem right, especially pain but even unusual gas, etc. we should get it checked out.
