Did you have problems standing up or showering after surgery?

All I can say is that mine was lap ... and I still had a few days where it was tough going. I could get up from bed, but it hurt like hell. But that only lasted a few days. I would expect that open would be worse.

I have a shower seat which worked very well. Remember that you will have some weakness after surgery, be careful.
