Dr Verboonen

I am intested in hearing from anyone that has used him or his group and what their experiences were. I don't want to get caught up in "My MD can beat up your MD" . I just want to hear from folks that have had actual experiences with him. I am considering using him for VSG procedure.

He's great because he has a lap band himself, so he understands the stuggles of weight loss surgery.  And, he works with a great team:  Dr. Ponce and Dr. Fryayre (pronounced "Friday")... who speaks great English... so does Dr. "V".  They've done, I think about 7,000 bands as a team, I'm not sure about other procedures, but I'm going with a patient on July 1 who is having a gastric sleeve done with them.

I know he is a very good and renamed Dr. in Tijuana, also i've been told that he has a great surgical team, i was looking for a surgeon also and i've heard some very good referrals about Dr.Verboonen,  also they say the hospital facilities are great and that they take excellent care of you.
