Well NOW I have to do a Stress test on the 6th for a heart clearance .. I will put fire under my heart docs butt so the report gets to U of M in time. He knows about my issues because they were not sure if the headaches were heart or head related they checked the heart with a TEE and that was fine so then they went aggressively testing the head and found the Mass.
But he a good heart doc so I'm sure he'll get it done!! he better right?? LOL

Jhb - no I did not go to Beaumont. I liked the hospital very much and the people were very nice. I decided the program was not set up in a way I needed right now and I wanted to find a program that had done more of the sleeve. I decided to go to St. John with Dr. Kole. I received my approval letter today so I am hoping I can get my date soon.

Once you get things set up with your group I know a great plastic/reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Vincent DiNick. Dr. DiNick attends supports group to provide information on reconstructive surgery.

Yeah, my doctor's office is $25.00 per session. Another place was 15-20 per session. And of course, the insurance company wont cover anything of the sort...sooo...poo on them.

I see your posts and I think its great you are on this site. I am a veteran of sorts and don't get on the boards much, but should. Support is key. I live near you, I will send you my info. And if we need help with forming a group supported by OH or just topic ideas, we can probably talk to Pam T. who posts here too.
