2 Year Surgiversary
Good Morning All!
Yesterday I had my 2 year check with Dave at PNC. (I had the pleasure of seeing Queen Barb--she looks fantastic!)
In two years I've dropped about 100 pounds from my heaviest. (I just returned from vacation, and had 4 extra pounds on me. Napa Valley can do that!)
According to Dave I've lost 64% of my excess weight. That seemed low because I'm perfectly happy to weigh what I weigh. But, you know, that's the beauty of our individuality. I will never be, and do not aspire to be a size 4, 6 or 8. I'm very happy at 12-14.
I had an endocrinologist once tell me to look at my mother and grandmothers to see what my genetic make up would tend to be---body wise. He was pretty darn close to where I am now. (that was 20 years ago!)
Two years have flown by. I have not regretted this surgery for one second. It was nice to pull out my summer clothes and find they still fit from last year.
Thank you to my friends on this board. Welcome to the new people. It'll be two years for each of you before you know it!
