I'm still here, but doing better every day/ NG tube came out last evening, and started liquid meds today. JP drain out this morning, and things are 'moving'-- if ya know what I mean!

Been checking messages- great to have such good support. Maybe home tomorrow, but Doc says another day is OK if I need it.

From someone who has been there / done that, take all the time they're willing to give you, as long as you are comfortable there.

Unless, of course, you have one of those buzzer dealies next to your bed at home...

Glad to hear you're doing better - welcome to the losers' bench!

And I agree with Darla - if they'll give you the time, take it! I took an extra day when they offered it to me. It worked out great 'cause I live alone. I didn't have any trouble once I did go home, but felt a little more assured that I would be okay on my own after that extra day in the hospital.
