Your spirits sound like they are better today!  Great to hear from you and glad that you are experiencing some progress.  I agree with the rest of the gang here, if they offer you another day, I would take it.  Nothing like the TLC they off you there.  It is really nice to hear from you!

Going home today! It will be good to be in my own bed again-- sometimes I wonder if this back ache will ever go away!

Tolerating my fluids just fine, and meds, too. I follow up with the surgery clinic on Friday morning for staple removal and possible diet advance.

Glad you're doing well enough to go home today. Bet IT WILL feel good to be in your own bed, I don't know how people survive long term sleeping on those things!
