Why is it getting so quiet in here?

The board seems to be slowing down a bit lately, so here's a question for you all to ponder, and answer if you're so inclined...

What something special did you promise yourself once you lost a significant amount of weight?  And if you have lost the weight but NOT "rewarded" your efforts yet, why not?

I am going to go on vacation.....  at 100lbs lost.

But for the other goals, I have been pampering myself.... otherwise, I would have given up on myself I think.... I tend to freak out when I plateau.

I bought myself a platinum necklace and earrings for making it through surgery!

I've promised myself a gold watch for reaching goal!

Darla,

I noticed a slow down with the boards too????  I guess everyone of us are just busy.....

I promised myself a tummy tuck after my 1 year appt. But the way the money situation is I don't think that will happen.

I guess my gift to myself will just have to be a healthy life.......

I have not rewarded myself.  I think because it is happening so fast and I can't believe it's really happening.  The weight loss and all the fun wows feel like reward.  I've never been good at setting goals or rewarding myself.

Thanks for asking Kelly.  The hubby loved the dress and I felt really good in it.  There were not a lot of people there that I knew but the ones that I did know were impressed with the loss.
