2 years out, but still WOW-ing!

My DH and I just returned from a trip to Orlando.  It was a submarine (Navy) reunion.  None of the attendees knew me.  That was fine.

BUT we spent 3 days at Disney World, including Blizzard Beach.  That is something I'd NEVER done 2 years ago.  I had to order a swimsuit from JPPenney online for the occasion.  ugh! 

We played at Blizzard Beach and swam or soaked at the hotel pool every day we were there.  No problem.  Even though I'm more than two years out, this is a FIRST for me.  I did not feel 'weird' in a swimsuit in public.  Thank you, GOD! and all the people at PNC!  This was total freedom for me. 

NORMAL is such an AMAZING THING!!!  Yay for you, Connie!  

I DID do Blizzard beach, 4 years ago.  I think some of the other guests thought I was there to create the turbulence in the wave pool.  And I'd have LOVED to try that terrifyingly tall and steep slide, but I was afraid the momentum I'd have built up with MY tonnage would have caused me to slide right out of the park and quite possibly, into the Gulf of Mexico! 

AWESOME WOW!!!  Come to PNC tomorrow, we haven't seen you there for WAY too long!!!?!!

That's AWESOME!  Am just over two years out myself, and the WOWs do continue to pop up.  Keep up the fantastibulous work! It's sure worth the lifetime committment!  Looking for some pics if you choose to share!  Hugs, Patti

That's such an awesome feeling....CONGRATS!!!

I'm still sort of "weirded out" when I'm in my swimsuit. I still feel sort of like people are looking at me because I'm so "fat", but this last summer I had a young KID (somewhere between 18-21) whistled at me and started flirting!!

You deserve that WOW moment!

Wearing a swimsuit and hanging out in the pool, comfortably is a huge WOW.  How fun!
