5 months out, and my great triumph of the day was that I didn't get sick, at all, from anything, all day!

Hey way to work it  !

Stick to the rules of the pouch and things should go A-OK although the first year is really learning about what your pouch can handle and what it cant!

Had a great day with the hubby and visiting with FIL later in evening.  I ate a slice of turkey and a scoop of dressing -- I was stuffed!!!!

Tomorrow my hubby, daughters and grandson are going to visit some relatives we haven't seen since my surgery last fall so it should be a fun day of reactions for me!!!

I had a great day!  Started out with an unexpected soak in my brother's new hot tub (outside on his patio - FABULOUS!), then came home to the egg bake I prepared Weds. night.  Just my family, my mom, and my dear friend June over.  Chatted away the afternoon, just relaxing and sipping.

Then once my daughter's BF showed up, we headed down to the in-laws for the turkey dinner!  I ate the neck (love the neck!), a scoop of dressing, some veggies and 1/2 a dinner roll.  GOOD TO GO!   Had a lil' punkin pie later, about 1/3 of a "normal" slice, watched Wall-E with everyone, sang Happy Birthday to my mom (83 years young!), and took the BF home -  VERY THANKFUL that food is no longer the focal point of the day!!!

I was hostess this year.  I had turkey, a teaspoon of dressing, broccoli, a spoon of mashed potatoes.

For dessert, I made a pumpkin pie with Splenda and a little brown sugar- ate 1/2 of my slice, which was 1/16th of the pie!

Everyone loved the pie-- so it's my new standard pumpkin pie recipe!

This morning, I headed out to the Pilates studio for a 'foam roller' class- using a stiff foam roller as resistance and 'body awareness' for core strengthening and releasing tightness in various body joints-- lots more difficult to do than it looks!
