Dropping in again..........

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, I cooked for 8 people.  It's been a little hectic with hubby finishing the basement.  Then yesterday he ended up in the DDS with a broken tooth, he got two fillings.  I broke my toe and part of my foot swelled and turned purple too, so I had to go to urgent care and now have a "cute" post-op shoe to wear.  Our son is in the process of moving and our daughter got engaged last night.  Geez!  I think that covers it!  Hang in there with us folks, the new year is coming!

You have a lot going on right now...hubby with a broken tooth, you with a broken toe, your son moving...ugh!! The only bright spot is your daughters engagement....I am happy for them.

I hear ya, sistah.  This has not been the best fall in our house either - hubby laid off, father-in-law died, and now I too have a broken tooth (with dental insurance in limbo!)

2008 is going out with a wimper.  Sigh,

I must admit I will be glad to see 2008 go, it's been a bit of a rough one since about June.  I am sorry to hear about your FIL, I hope your dental ins at least is good!  Both our kids ended up unemployed, they both got jobs in the last few weeks but neither is making what they were before.  The job market is not good at all, good luck to your hubby!  I am not looking forward to March 2009 as our daughter's boyfriend will be deployed to Iraq.
