What are things you wish you would have brought with you to the hospital and things you needed when you got home.

The one thing I wish I had brought with me are those facial wipes (kind of like baby wipes but for your face). I think Olay makes them but I believe there is a walmart brand too. My roommate had them and shared. The wipes took so much more dirt off my face than the adult cleansing wipes I bought to take with me.

Just make sure to get the food stuff you need before you go to the hospital. You will not feel like going out to get stuff. Also, buy a bunch of easy read magazines. I have had zero attention span since my surgery last Monday.

Deodorant! (the hospital provided some after I asked)
Lip balm-- remembered that one!

Things I needed at home:
Bathroom wipes--flushable!
"mindless" reading-- short attention span
Re arrange furniture as needed-- I couldn't get out of the sofa or loveseat I usually sit on-- needed a firm chair with arms to get up and down.
elevated toilet seat (got one from the hospital)

I think I was pretty prepared for my hospital stay. I was glad I had my own blanket, chap stick, my own tooth paste and brush, and slippers!!

For home I had alot of yogurt, pudding, and lots of sugar free popsicles.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! WIshing you all the best!

God Bless, Angela
