River Falls Coffee - A great time!

Thanks to Tammy for organizing the coffee at River Falls.  It was a nice change.   The coffee shop (The Hot Spot) was very comfy and the coffee was super).  We could actually hear each other talk!

It was good seeing Deb and Sandy - you ladies MUST come to more coffees!  Edi, Cathy V and I carpooled and it was a nice drive, athough I bet is looks much nicer in the spring  I am amazed at the distance Tammy drives every Saturday to have coffee with us. Cathy is only 1 week out and has really bounced back after surgery.  Reenie and Stephanie carpooled, with Steph's little Olivia providing us with some entertainment.  I hope Edi got a photo of Cathy and Olivia dancing in the shop window.

Tammy - wowsa wow wow - you have shrunk incredibly since I last saw you. And I think I've only met you once - last Fall in Stillwater. Congrats on your successes!!!

And Reenie - where 'o where have you gone lady? Seriously! I saw you at the Craft Party and you've lost like a whole person since then. I am just blown away by your progress! WTG girl!!!

You all look absolutely incredible but I had to point out those two because I have not seen them for a while and they've literally melted before my eyes!

Thanks for posting the photos Edi!!  It really was a great time!  It was fabulous to meet Sandra and Debbie- I am excited that they will be joining us in Minnesota too!  I never realized how close River Falls really is!  Kudos for Cathy V. for looking soooooo AWESOME at one week post-op!

Amy- thank you for the compliment.  They gym and I have become great friends and I will see what the doc has to say at my 6 month (has it reaqlly been 6 months???) check-up on Thursday!

It was a great time!  It was nice meeting some new faces and reconnecting with some familiar faces.  Everyone looked great.  We shared some before photos and couldn't believe just how different people look now.  All the happy, smiling faces!

I had a really wonderful time at coffee this weekend.  I have to thank Sandy for sending me and invitation to come out.  It was a nice change from WSP.  The conversations never seemed to die down when one stopped another started.  I agree with Linda it was a very comfy coffee shop.  In my opinion it felt a little relaxed because there was really no table in the middle.  We sat in couches and chairs around a coffee table.  I wouldn't mind getting together once a month or every other month out there or in stillwater.  Especially with the summer and the spring coming up. 

Thanks for the compliment Amy.  Even though I have pictures up in my office I really haven't noticed how much I have changed until I saw Edi's photos.  WOW

Thank you Reenie, Stephanie, Olivia, Edi, Cathy V., Deb, Sandy, and Linda for venturing out there.  To the ladies and gents that didn't make it.  Maybe next time.

I always have fun at coffee!!!  It was definitely a short ride for me too!  It was nice to meet Deb, Sandy & Cathy.  Wow, Cathy, you are like Wonder Woman.  I couldn't believe you had just had surgery less than a week before!   I suppose you are doing cartwheels by now.
The only thing I didn't like about coffee was Edi's CAMERA!!!  Yuck!
Hope for that to change someday.
