Dug out my BEFORE pictures...
Whenever my 'scale' weight loss stalls, I look at my BEFORE photos to remember that this is a journey, not a destination.
Recently I went out dancing and took photos (it's SO much easier now with the 85lbs gone)... and today I found some photos of me pre-op going out dancing. Man... and I thought I looked decent... but honestly, I was miserable.
These photos make me want to cry... because I am so sad for the person in the BEFOREs... I loved myself, but I was in so much physical pain and felt so hopeless.
BEFORE (I tend to make funny faces in photos... my face doesn't normally look like that...lol)
AFTER (Goofy... I told ya)

Man oh man................. I can't believe I am here.......... is this really me? I can't even figure out how to express my joy... I never thought this was possible. I thought I was one of the few that just would never be luck enough to win the obesity battle.

You look fantastic!!! I know what you mean about the before and now pictures! I do the same thing to see the difference.
You are doing great, and I love reading about your journey, it helps to keep me motivted.

Not only do you benefit from looking at your BEFORE pictures, but so did I as a pre-op and still as an early out op. I love seeing the changes, it gives me hope for what's coming in my future. You look wonderful!
