Surgery tomorrow.....nervous!!!

Well I have to be at the hospital at 6:30 am. I'm soooo nervous. I slept 4 hours last night.  Up until today I didn't even know if I'd be having surgery because I had an asthma exacerbation with a cold and had to get the all-clear to go through with it!  But it's been a long, arduous journey and I'm ready to hurry up and get on the other side already! Sheesh! LOL  I hope I can sleep tonight.  Doubtful, though. Too many worries going through my head.  :(   Anyway, I will see you all on the loser bench!  :)

It is very normal to be nervous! You are in great and skillful hands with Dr. Drew.

Best wishes on your surgery! Is someone posting for you tomorrow to let us know you are doing ok after?

Yay!

So in just a few hours you will be walking the hallways...you will be fine.  You've crossed major milestones in your journey and now you are coasting down the final stretch.  Your surgeon is highly skilled....you are in good hands and your OH family is waiting to hear how you are doing.  You will have questions in your first few days...don't worry, we will be here to help.  You can have someone post for you or have someone call someone who can post, or just post yourself when you get a chance.  See you on the other side!

You will do great!!! Nervousness is normal. I asked the doctor if it was OK to cry a bunch before I went into surgery... he said it's normal. It didn't happen though because I kept reminding myself that this was the beginning of an amazing trip!
