Question
I have that same question about how soon the weight will come off....wondering if I am on track, lagging, etc. Someone posted this on the RNY board so I am copying it here. I may post it as a question to see how accurate it is for those a year or more out. Good luck tomorrow! Very exciting for you!

Best wishes for the surgery!
Everybody's different with how fast the weight comes off. WIth my start weight and surgery type it should have come off really fast for me but it turns out I'm a slow loser (could be the weight trainiang I'm doing). This just means my skin has more of a chance to adjust to the changes :)
I didn't really care for the baby food but you can put all kinds of things in a blender (btw,. get a Magic Bullet blender!). One of my favorites in the weeks after surgery was ricotta cheese, marinara sauce and crab meat.

I didn't do baby food, but I wasn't very good at following the pureed instructions since I have had to travel so much since surgery.
Everyone is different on how much and how fast they lose, but it is very common to be up 5-20 lb or more from fluids when you get home. I think I was +7 lb, but by my 1 wk follow up I was back down to surgery day weight. I lost about 20 pounds at a month (28 since start of 10 day LD).
Just concentrate on healing and the rest will take care of itself. I know I wished I could have woken up from surgery 100 lb lighter, but unfortunately it doesn't happen that way.
