OT: Wedding locations?

My sister got married on the shores of the Mississippi and had her reception at the top of the IDS Center.  Here's the IDS Center room she used:  http://www.marquettehotel.com/windows.htm

I got married and had my reception at Glensheen Mansion in Duluth.  It has some great history and is very beautiful.  And relatively cheap compared to the same amount of space almost anywhere in the Cities.  http://www.d.umn.edu/glen/

Check Three Rivers, as Darla said, and also Hennepin County Parks, as well as City websites, Minneapolis, St Paul, etc. My daughter is getting married at the Mpls Sculpture Gardens, and we also looked at Islands of Peace, on the Mississippi. Beautiful!!!

I got married on one of the boats on Lake Minnetonka.  It was really fun and quite affordable.  We got married on May 31 and it was a little windy and chilly that day, so they put clear plastic windows down to keep everyone warm. 

I've been thinking of getting married at the como zoo conservatory.
