How do I get a picture on here?

I had ot have my kids fix it for me. I tried and tried to get my picture on here and just could not do it--too big. Called my 13 year old son over to the computer and 3 seconds later it was done. UGHHHHH. I sit in front of a computer all day. I can do spread sheets and formulas and all kids of stuff but I need my kids for everything at home. They fix my myspace and slide shows . I feel like a dinosuar. Dannielle
